 Set your priorities

If work has been or is your priority, then you will have to make some changes. Keep some time aside for activities that will refresh you. It might sound a waste of time for those who have deadlines to meet or have piles of work to finish, but trust me, if you will refresh your mind, you will get the work in time for sure. A stressed mind will never give you desired results. These activities can be anything, from watching a web series, listening to music or even gardening.

Cooking is fun

Many people will ask you to take out time for workouts, but I know it is so boring to go through the same mundane routine exercises. If the nature of your work makes you use your phone more than usual, then it’s time to think how you can get active during long calls. Use your speaker phone while on conference calls. You can go to the terrace or the back lawn while having the discussion. This will help you distress a bit. Sitting for long hours on your workstation can prove to be very injurious to your health.

Keep water handy

It is a good idea to keep a water bottle handy while you work. The more you drink, the more you will use the washroom. That is good actually. It will give you a time out from back breaking work. Just stretch a bit or take a walk around the house so that you come back and refocus even better.

If you’re juggling a day full of meetings with a busy evening your stress levels are likely to be sky-high and stress has a horrible effect on your health and well-being. And one of the best things you can do in order to remain productive and fit is to learn how to relax. Research have found that even having a good laugh or spending time with your family can help you relax and decrease stress levels. If you are not a fan of meditation or a hot bath, then we suggest you can relax by listening to good music or reading a book.
