Devialet, the exciting flamboyant French company has revolutionized the way we perceive Bluetooth speakers. There are many high-end speakers available in the market, but few come close to the speakers manufactured by Devialet. The speakers caused ripples among audiophiles when it came up with the Phantom. The unusual shape and the clear tone sound made these desirable speakers for those who could afford it.
The shape of the new 900-watt speaker stays oval like earlier versions, with two bass drivers and a full-range driver. The internal shell is of polycarbonate filled with glass fiber, and the outer shell is in matte black stainless steel. There are five ways to connect to these speakers — Bluetooth, AirPlay UPnP Renderer, AUX port, Wi-Fi and Ethernet.
- Up to 900W of Peak Power
- Bluetooth & Wi-Fi Audio Streaming
- Spotify Connect, UPnP Compatibility
- Shared 1/8″ / Optical Input
Well, the Reactor 900 has been toned-down according to Devialet standards, but it’s loud, really loud when it comes alive. It delivers a low, tight and strong bass response that can be mistaken for a secret subwoofer somewhere in the house. The vocals have no jarring effects and are crisp and clear.
Devialet has been instrumental in creating speakers that look out of this world and also combining digital and analog amplification.
